Plymouth CAST NPQ Programme

There has never been a more important time for schools to invest in excellent professional development to upskill, empower and retain school staff.

Plymouth CAST is thrilled to be a Lead Delivery Partner for the Church of England, delivering a range of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs). These fully-funded courses are delivered through high quality resources, expert coaches and facilitators, all underpinned with the values and ethos of the Church of England and Catholic Education Service.

We are delivering the NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQ LBC) for the third year in partnership with St Christopher's MAT. This course enables good behaviour for pupils, supports their wellbeing, and sets a culture of high expectation and learning in schools.

The NPQ Senior Leadership (NPQ SL) will equip you to respond effectively to the school-wide challenges you will encounter as a senior leader.

NPQ Headship (NPQH) is the nationally recognised professional qualification for Headteachers, providing a unique opportunity to grow as a leader, and to take your career to the next step.

NPQ Leading Teaching (NPQ LT) is the course for teachers that have responsibilities for leading teaching in a subject, year group, or a key stage enabling you to support your department or key stage to improve aspects of leadership including curriculum and assessment.

NPQ Leading Teacher Development (NPQ LTD) is for teachers that support, train, and develop new and experienced teachers through developing teacher expertise and classroom practice across the school.

To learn more about each NPQ, please visit NPQs - Foundation For Educational Leadership (cefel.org.uk) where you can find course details and can begin your application process.
